Motogate organiser, Hotnot Masimula said the aim is to remind Kwandebele residents that 30 days have passed since Kwandebele youth gathered at the Union Buildings fighting for the Moloto rail corridor’s commencement. “Today the youth came to Kwandebele to observe and find out if community members are still behind them during this march. They are here to remind the nation that this fight still continues,” he mentioned.

Masimula explained that the Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane made a visual audio where she engaged the office of the President, department of transport office, Mpumalanga Premiers’ office but they all failed to avail themselves. “This is proof that as Kwandebele residents we are still disrespected especially by the President’s office,” he said.
