
After the quarter-final dates and venues were released, the SABC announced that Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United fans will be able to watch their teams’ first MTN8 games on the channel. According to a statement by the PSL, the MTN8 quarter finals will be played on 17 and 18 October. It was also announced that due to the Global pandemic COVID-19 all four matches will be played behind closed doors.
The 2020/21 season is set to kick off with the top-eight tournament on Saturday, 17 October when PSL new boys Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila host Matsatsantsa. TTM’s first match since buying Bidvest Wits’ PSL status will be aired by the SABC. Amakhosi’s last eight clash against Maritzburg United on Sunday, 18 October will be aired on SuperSport.
